So I've told several people that I would try and have a blog during my time in Oakland, CA as a Jesuit Volunteer, and the only way I will accomplish this is through actually creating one. And so here it is: My Blog!
I still don't have much information about next year, but I just booked my flight to orientation for August 7 from Philly to San Jose (both my parents separately referenced this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZuOgEptHcU). For right now, all I know is that I will be a Nursing Assistant/Orientation Counselor for Thunder Road Adolescent Treatment Centers, Inc. I am still waiting to know where exactly I will be living and with whom I will be living, but I figure I need to be patient.
I've never blogged before, so I really do not know how I will stylize this blog nor do I know how often I will post (I hope to post often, but I may be without direct internet access for the next year, which is the problem).
